The dust has settled! The expansion has been completed! Over forty new seats were added to the call center during the recent expansion as well as adding our high-tech training center, executive offices, a larger cafeteria, and new support staff areas.

The project took nearly three months to complete and the result is a state of the art call center that is capable of handling the company’s planned growth for the foreseeable future.

We would like to thank our employees, who put up with the construction noise; and our vendors and contractors who worked on and off hours keeping the disruptions to a minimum.

The city of Rockford has brought back one of its most popular events, the Rockford Marathon that took place May 18, 2008. The wheels are now turning for the planning of the 2009 Marathon. We are showing its community spirit by setting up the toll free service and taking the in-bound calls for the race organizers. Using its IVR technology, callers can get the latest news about the race, register for the race or reach out to speak with one of the race directors.

In addition, a relay team representing the company will run the race. Owner and avid runner Steve Korn promises not to hire any “ringers” just to win top honors amongst relay teams.

One of the many ways QVSM has given back to the community is through its association with the Salvation Army.

Since moving to the Rockford area in 2004, QVSM and The Salvation Army have worked together to provide jobs for deserving individuals from the “Army”. These people have proven themselves to be excellent, dedicated employees.

QVSM also enjoys helping to raise money for The Salvation Army. Through the holiday season and at other times during the year, QVSM employees, with matching company funds have made substantial donations to the “Army” drives. They have also filled barrels of food during food campaigns as well.

At the recent Salvation Army Telethon serving the Rockford area, QVSM was given special recognition for its dedication to helping the Salvation Army.
